Baptism Waiver for Minors
It is our prayer that if your child(ren) has accepted Jesus as their own personal Lord and Savior, then they would take the next step in their faith by being water baptized. There are a couple of things we want you to be aware of as you and your child(ren) make this exciting decision:
- Children can be baptized anytime 7 Hills is hosting a water baptism opportunity! These dates will always be up on our website.
- Any child over the age of 6 can participate in water baptism. Baptism follows a child's decision to trust Jesus for his or her salvation and commitment to follow Him (Acts 10:47-48). At 7 Hills Church, we wait until children are old enough to express their own decision (age 6+) to follow Jesus and understand the meaning of baptism.
- Due to the sensitive nature of this decision, we require parental/guardian consent for all kids between the ages of 6 and 17 before we baptize their child. It is our heart to give parents the opportunity to speak with and lead their child through this experience.
